Hello, I have a few games that I would like to backup just in case. I do not condone to any piracy but just for personal backup use. I have the C3ki pro and the USB pro and have already successfully flashed a couple drives (one samsung & one lite-on phat). I have flashed an extra (phat)liteon with the 0800 fw and read the tuts on backing up xdg3 games. The only problem that I cannot seem to find answers for is when I attempt to run the Xbox Backup Creator 2.9 build 0350, or any version I get "runtime Error '7', out of memory" and I cannot seem to execute xbc. I have already search multiple forums but to no avail to any information.

Any help would be appreciated.

Additional Info: I have a windows 7 64bit. I disable drive enforcement before flashing. The drive with the 0800 fw v3 is a Liteon dg-16d2s.

right near the beach :)
use the latest XBC (425), and ensure your .net is installed correctly and updated

Is the drive showing up as a CD-ROM drive in Windows?

I do have .net 4.5 and I just download xbc 2.9 build 425. The drive does show on my computer as CD Drive. I still get the same error. Runtime Error '7' out of memory

Try running in compatibility mode and see if you can run it for xp and try it again.

Think it's right click and properties or something along those lines.....

I know this thread was posted years ago....

I have same issue. I have searched high and low for a solution. I have tried:

- Restarting Windows (because you never know....)
- Cleaning registry with CCLeaner
- Running program in "Windows XP w/ SP3" compatibility mode
- Confirmed I have .NET Framework 4.6.1 installed

I'm kinda at a loss at this point. Any ideas??
