XBOX Bios Linux???

Hey i have X3 CE and everything on my xbox with the X3 BIOS, but now im wondering if i can use Xebian Linux with X3 Bios. And how do i burn ISO files so they work on my xbox?

Xebian Linus is a standalone application. It will load direct from the CD and startup something like windows - it does not need the X3 BIOS as SUCH to work.

As far as the CD ISO's go - read the tutorials !!!!

But you will need a copy of something like QWIX and NERO to burn the image that you have downloaded - or buy it direct on CD.

Bear in mind when burning that CDR/W's work best - some media better than others and if you have an early Thompson drive, success rate is very small for reading these!! I think DVD's are better if you havea DVD burner.

I prefer Nero lol, but dont you need the Cromwell BIOS? to make Linux work?

So long as the chip active, on and working OK ... you should be able to put the Linux boot disk in and go ....

thanks jonrees69, its strange tho i burned my xebian linux succesfuly on a DVD-R, when i put it on my xbox, it boots fine and everything but in the process where a lot of letters come out, my screen turns black then after like 10 seconds it shows the letters then my screen turns black again? What do i need 2 do?
