The debug light shouldn't be solid green once it's glitched. You shouldn't see it again.
But in xell it stays on? is it because it is debugging? Also what would happen is the the chip would turn green then when i see the xbox 360 animation it would turn off and stay on that screen. i can still see the green in the logo glowing and moving though.

Try fixing up your JTAG ALT qsb. I had a jasper that would constantly freeze on Post 69 - INIT_KEY_VAULT until i removed the qsb and installed diodes like the BOXXDR method

but it boots to xell so does that still mean its a soldering problem

Wouldn't hurt to try. Or adjust the ohm jumper for 470/330 ohms. Is this the same console you posted about here: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141653
Then please post new install pictures of your JTAG qsb. (Like the repair of r2p12)

Also have you tried writing a normal Jtag image to the console? (untick Aud_clamp in j-runner when building image)
Yes its the same console, i havent fixed the r2p12 going to tonight but would that make a difference on why it boots to xell almost instant but when it boots to dashboard its stuck on the xbox animation its not frozen because the green part is glowing and moving ?

xell and freeboot both boot slightly different i think(could be wrong).

If you want to test if the boards okay, flash a stock nand image back to the console and remove 5v wire from RJTAG chip. If your console boots fine then it could be an SMC Config seting that needs changing(See Here:http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95054)

If it doesn't boot, the R2P12 is your problem. Post a clear picture of it and someone may be able to see if there is damage or not.

I'm pretty sure if you load your nanddump and hit the KV info tab it will show the drive under OSIG.

advice below was given on your other post : http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141653

your post_qsb could use some work.. use lots of flux and touch it up

have you gone through all dip, voltage, ohm settings ?
also, why do you need to know the original drive.. the console is RGH'd .. you can use any drive :)

no.. you can use any drive as long as you flash the console's dvd key to it .. you don't necessarily need the original drive model

1206 smd resistor is too big for a replacement .. you can use the ones from the 2nd link or find smaller size smd resistors

you want to be looking for 0603 or 0805 SMDs ..
