XBOX crash after flash

I just put in my Xecuter 3 CE. Upon bootup, it went straight to the biosflash screen. I installed X3 bios for v1.6, which is the version I have, and once it loads it shuts down. When I turn it back on I get the xbox startup screen with no logo under the x like i was told was supposed to happen. Instead my eject button flashes green and orange and it goes to a screen that has the number 05 in the corner and says service required. I didn't flash my chip immediately, I actually played a couple of games before I did, so it worked fine before the flash. Thank you in advance.

I used 3.0.1 but I downloaded 3.0.3, burned it to a dvd, but don't know how to make it work. Plus I started the xbox with the power and eject button held down to get back to the flashbios and everytime it enters, whether i have my chip set to protect or not, it says its read only.

I have tried both and they are bot 3.0.1 for some reason. I have installed the flash successfully twice, and upon rebooting with the switches in the same position the front panel light is red, and then the xbox eject button flashes red and green and says 05 in the corner and service required. Now no matter how I boot the xbox it says everything is read only.

I actually got it to quit giving me that error message, so now it's not crashing. But still after i do a flash, it doesn't do anything, I still get microsoft under the Xbox logo, not x3 or whatever it's supposed to say. Am I supposed to do any changes to the front panel or to the chip. My chip has the red light. I also tried holding the white button to launch into the bios but got nothing.

I am flashing it with x3 bios. I have also tried evox as well. They both install according to flasbios, but on restart there is no way to boot into those bios, and there is no logo showing that they have been installed

try disonectting the power eject adapter and then try to reboot this should make the x3 force boot.

When I disconnect the power eject adapter my switch panels x glows blue and it shuts off after about a second. It doesn't matter how the switches are set. I just want to make sure i am doing this right. I flash to off on off off off setting. When it is done installing and shuts down my console, i turn it back on. I should see a logo about x3 rocks my box or something right?

i tried with that configuration of the switches too. but it just gives me the regular xbox startup and dashboard. Is there anything anyone may think I am doing wrong. It shows the flash as being successful. I tried changing the switches to different positions before booting up and tried with the x3 switched over to the green light. but nothng seems to work

i got it from xbins. I downloaded the 3294 x3 bios and then downloaded for 1.6 because I have the 1.6b xbox. I also downloaded dummy creator and create a 100MB dummy.bin to go along with my bios.bin. I burned with dvd-r. Like I said it goes in fine, its just on reboot it acts like nothing is there. i've gone back and checked all my solder points and everything is fine, although i'm sure that isn't my problem. Do you think it could just be a bad chip? It seems like it looses its flash memory after it has been powered off. Any other suggestions from anyone would be helpful. This whole thing has been such a headache.

Is there anything in particular in the soldering that could be causing this? I have checked all the points and wires quit a few times and they all seem to be in order. I usually do PS2s and they are a little tougher to do with the tiny points, but always successful. The xbox just works like no chip is there unless I hold in the power and eject at the same time to go back to flashbios. So if there is any particular part that anyone knows of that could possibly cause this I am all ears.
