Xbox dead when Reset/Eject Adapter is fitted

My xbox is not able to start when I have fitted the adapter (totaly dead) But when removing it and put the cables from the power on button as it is from the beggining the xbox running smooth. Is the Adapter gone or what should I check to get it up and running as it should?

there is a solder splash under the adhesive pad joining 2 points together. you will have to unjoin them.

It was a tiny solderstring between two points on the adapter

Updating iXtreme fw from 1.0-1.6.1 - Samsung MS28 (with JF?)

Hi there,

I flashed my MS28 back in '07 with iXtreme 1.0 (maybe 1.1), and now want to update the fw to 1.6.1 to play the latest backups.

How can I do this using Jungleflasher?

Do I just plug in the MS28 and boot up the desktop I'm using?

Will it come up in Vendor mode?

Do I have to unlock it again?

I still have the ORIG.BIN file I got last time, so which steps can I skip?

check out the jungleflasher tutorial

you should be able to skip to the point after you dump the drive (as you already have the dump)

load that up in the source firmware

the tough part might be getting your drive into vendor mode.
try tray half-open intro-device id

if that doesn't work, send the intro command with the drive off, then while its going, put the activate.iso disc in the drive
that might work as well

then just flash after loading up your 1.61 target and spoofing keys from your orig.bin
