I have a version 1.6b with an X3 chip and I was in the middle of playing a game and all of a sudden the xbox just shut off and won't turn back on. It's completely dead. What do I do??

it might be either of these two:
1. the fuse on the power supply might have blown, therefore you would need to replace it
2. if it isnt that then the xbox might have overheated which would have caused it to turn off automatically. this wouldnt stop it from powering on again though, the mobo might have been damaged by the heat

The fuse doesn't look blown, is there anyway to know for sure? Is there anyway to check if there is a current flowing? What do I do if my problem is that second then you said?
try replacin the fuse, should be cheap, if u have a friend with a modded box u could try checkin components for failure but make sure u take care
