Xbox doesnt turn on with chip, works fine without

So I got a 1.6b and X3.

I tried installing it normally and it fragged. I looked it over and couldnt figure it out. So I tried using the PCB rebuild. Now with the chip in, my xbox wont turn on. When I take the chip out it turns on fine.

When i press power the chip itself flashes blue for a moment. Weither I quick tap or hold it it wont turn on. The blue light stays on until I let go of power or eject also.

sup ideas?

Oh, and that little thing in the front with the X never lit up at all. even before I used PCB rebuild and I was fragging. is that normal?

frag is never normal

you need to check extensivly for solder splash, and splash the size of a pin tip can frag it all up, and check your solder points, confirm they look great

So I just went in and f**ked with it a bit. Cleaned some stuff up(or at least i think i did) and now my xbox will turn on when i boot it, but it frags. It also frags regardless of how long I hold the power button.

Im fairly certain that I just sucked at soldering it. MY question is is there a spot I should be looking around more than others? My gf is getting me a magnifying glass from work today.
