ANSWERED XBOX Door is always open?

my xbox is jasper

When the xbox is turned on.

Drive out the door.

The front lights are flashing green.

I closed the door. Re-opens.

I changed the drive completely.
I changed all the cables.
The board did not fail.

could be a bad key or no key at all.

more likely something on the board has died. i've had a couple i never could fix but if you tried changing the whole drive already its pretty much a lost cause mate. you could still rgh it and disconnect the drive completely to cure it ejecting and the rgh would keep the console usable

you could try changing the cables for the drive one may be faulty

The opening command runs constantly and forever.
Even if no drive is attached to the device still displays the opening message.

Nand was the original test.
I also tested with freeboot.

Perhaps the failure of the Southbridge?

Did you by change use the xbox as a power source when flashing a DVD drive?

switch no problem.
The normal state is a key press and the right to make opening and closing.
But when the door is closed.
Opens again !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have changed the drive.
But it was not true?

You changed the dvd drive so the problem is on the board.See if there are any damages and as garageinc said something died on the board.
