LITEON 74850 xbox Flash Dosn't work- Bad Drive Key..plz help!!!

Hi Guys !!

This is a bit of a mess, but i am unable to flash my Lite On. I used the MRA hack and got OFW bin. I tried flashing the Drive and cuz of something I did, it froze.

I used 1.6v Xbox Mod to unfreeze using the bootable cd. Then after that i could actually take the Dummy.bin, so i extracted the dummy bin and tried flashing again. It flashed. BUT when I put this back with the motherboard and tries to play a game it is detected as a normal drive, it says "Play Dvd", so something is wrong.

Then I used DSDB Fixer to check on the dummy bin, it says Bad Key Drive. It looks like i have the wrong key in the drive. Please help me to fix this!! I have the OFW, can't i get back the original key so i can spoof this properly???

Follow this tutorial if you have the original firmware backed up (substitute dummy.bin for your firmware).

Hey thanks man...I tried that it all worked fine, just like it was shown on the tute. It says everything is fine, BUT games don't work at all.

Play DVD usually means a wrong drive key.

Do retail games play fine?

What do u mean by retail game? The original games wont work either, and from what i can see, this is a bad key, ne way to fix ths? Plz hlp

If the drive key is wrong and you already erased the drive (which you did if you wrote new firmware), you could check the JungleFlasher Key Database but failing that, you will need to glitch the console to get the correct drive key.

I think the jungleflasher Keydb doesnt have t , can u tell me or point me to a place to find out how to glitch the console??

do you even have the jungle flasher log from when you MRA the drive?
