OK, this is a bit random but here's whats happening... i've upgraded my hdd in my xbox from an 80gig to 160gig Seagate. All went OK, preped with an evox install disc and all the stuff moved over fine. I've been using it with the X3 on for ages and its working 100pc.
I've just tried disabling the x3 though, and it used to work fine. Its now fragging. I suspect the eeprom as the tsop hasnt been touched, but i've tried restoring all 3 eeproms ive got and it keeps on fragging with the chip off.
Is there any special process i should be using to fix the eeprom? Could it be anything other than the eeprom, do those bios chips just randomly die?
