Xbox frags occasionaly

My 1.6 xbox with 2.6 xecuter will every now and then turn on and off 3 times while flashing red and green. However, when I do a combination of the following things it will eventually boot to slayers screen properly and run like a champ!: disable then boot, then reboot with chip on, unplug ac adapter then plug back in and boot, (sometimes I have to do these a few times, sometimes it is a simple reboot for the fix, weird.) I was wondering if the switch in front would have anything to do with it if it was loose. I can still use it everytime I want, its just wack to see it frag! Thanks, Tay.

What type of install is this? It almost sounds like a bad connection somewhere, because I'm guessing in all the fiddling around you are moving it.

update.... all I do is turn it off, then wait 5-10 seconds and turn it on again and it works. Or sometimes I eject the tray... Sometimes it takes a few attempts before it starts working again. Sometimes, it works the first try after.... weird [email protected]#

I have the same problem and I found it works longer if I turn the fan speed up. It will do it less often
