I have received a slim xbox 360 and it gives the error "Please play in an xbox 360" when I put a game in. I thought the laser must be the problem so put in a new one and still get the error.
I then assumed the key on the drive must be incorrect so I RGH'd it and extracted files from the nand dump. I got the drive to intro and in jf used the key.bin to insert the key into the relevant firmware and then I flashed. I received the flash verification failed error but thats never been an issue before and has always still worked fine.
However the drive still gives the same issues when trying to play a game. Might I add it plays dvd movies just fine still.
Could this be an issue with the pcb board itself?
