Hi,

i just did a RGH with rev b coolrunner on a 512mb jasper. everything seemed nice and dandy - the thing booted to xell i got cpu key, built an image from 64mb dump flashed it aaaaaaaand.... bam! now it still boots to xell through eject. but when i try to boot normaly it gives me one red light and secondary code of 1023.

as it says on the internetz (llama) that, i quote: "1023 DVD drive not connected, connect DVD drive to boot"

and it is connected + it ejects as it should.... i read elswhere that it was ethernet connectors pins that shorted together. but mine are nice and straight.

the xbox seems to start booting and then crashes. i mean it waits until it gets the glitch signal and then when the first leds blinks (to do the initial "blinking wheel") the xbox throws a red light in bottom right and i can't proceed....

ideas? i need this fixed in the upcomming 7 hours. preferably get some sleep in the midle lol :D

the only point that might be causing problem (in my humble oppinion) is the one near the xclamp (green. pll_bypass) as you can see i have finalized these points because the thing booter super nice into xell.

btw, the CAP is bridged on the Coolrunner if that changes anything....

If you are booting into xell then it's likely a bad read or write of the nand.

Post your jrunner log please

That error code has to due with the Network chip
Cold soldering joint maybe the only wire that goes right next to that chip is the orange wire

eh.... i don't have it.. i have all the files the j-runner generates when you create an image for a write. there is a nandflash.bin text file in which the xebuild's log is stored.

i followed the process of all the read/write etc. and there were no errors. i used xell to write new nand. i used a crappy usb key at first so re-did it later with the same image but different key. no use, still the same

should i solder the nand-x back in and get new dumps/logs?

COULD IT POSSIBLY BE THAT THIS F.....ER IS THE CAUSE?????? one pin is broken off http://i1265.photobucket.com/albums/jj512/ttadas0/rgh-network002.jpg

I DID IT!!!!

the xbox booted to dash!!!

as i said in a previous post. i fixed the leg of the chip. it seemed flimsy and near a breaking point so i didn't bend it back but just instead put a big blob of solder on top of it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND it works!!!!!!!!!

I live in central europe, and I have the same issue, you have, error 1023, but I have 3 red lights and despite that, my console boots to dash automaticly.
I never did any modification, wich requires soldering to it. Its UN Modded.
