hey...
WHen i first bought my xbox , a v1.0, it was sweet, two months later it starts making a deep buzzing sound everytime i start it up. it goes away after a few seconds and it doesn't seem to have affected the xbox much. i was wondering what the hell could it be? 'cause the guy that did the chip for me couldn't figure it out either. but that's not the worst problem.
I decided to get the box chipped half a year ago, (v2.6, 120gb hdd). Now it can't run most of the games either on my hard drive or on disk. When a game loads, and if it loads, it'll load slowly and run laggy. http://www.teamxecuter.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=66#
EEK!
What can i do?

There are only 3 moving parts in an xbox... the fan, the DVD-ROM and the HDD.

If it was the fan.. you'd overheat. If it was the DVD-ROM you wouldn't care because you're using your HDD to load games.

That leave's one option...

I think your HDD is on it's last leg. If I were you I'd try to get all your info off that HDD and replace it.
