hi,i have a problem hope any of u guys can help me. my cousins jasper unit w/ 13599 dash & LT2.0 wanted to update to 14719 coz he wanted to play dragons dogma. i checked around the net & was informed that a few guys with same specs as my cousins unit was able to make it work by just updating the dashboard using usb coz they said updating from the disc & on live might inject the silent dae.bin update. they said that updating from usb wont get it so i downloaded the 14719 update from microsoft site & extracted it to my flashdrive.
then i updated my cousins jasper with it,now after the the update..dragon dogma comes out unsupported & also all his xgd3 games that used to work before the update wont work anymore also same unsupported disc issue.
any ideas why the silent dae.bin was injected in the unit considering i updated it using usb flashdrive?
then a friend of mine said the same thing happened to his jasper & he brought it to a shop where the shops tech told him they need to downgrade the dae.bin so all his xgd3 games would again work including the newer ones like max payne 3,dragon dogma & ghost recom w/o patching those games.
he saw the procedure it was like using rgh or jtag methods on his unit but after the procedure his unit isnt jtagged. but all games were working fine.
any ideas what procedure they did & items they used?
the shop charges that service a little bit high & i have ck3i,usb pro & probe 3 items thinking that i can do it myself. i just need a little guidance.
