Well kimosabe it was quite a challenge actually.
First, I have to remove all of the pots and switches off of the LCD board and rewire them to the locations seen in the pictures.
Then, I completely removed the middle section of the front panel and replaced it with the LCD you see.
I had to convert the power source to 8.5 volts so there is a converter sitting next to the HDD case.
I had to find the rca out pin on the mb and soder to the LCD board.
Because the size of the LCD board and the fact that the ribbon connecting the LCD and the Board together was very short, I actually have the board standing upright right behind the LCD screen.
To accomplish that I had to cut out a section of the DVD case and the HDD which meant that the HDD had to move back a little bit so I also had to cut out a small section out of the back of the HDD case so that the Ribbon cable would have enough room to attach to the HDD
I also had to remove some of the section of the case behind the LCD you can't tell it's missing because of the front panel.
Everything fit pefectly together, I was really surprised.
The front panel by it's self is a bit weak, but re-inforced with the rest of the case it is just fine.
This took me over a week to finish, and I spent alot of time on it.
I just wanted to do something a little bit different.
And just as a side note, I thought that the addition of the LCD and the power converter would bring the temp of the Xbox up a bit. But to my surprise it's actually a fe degrees lower. It must have been some of the interior modifications that made air flow a bit better or something.
I'll try to get some more pics of the interior to further explain myself.
