Now. i just order a programmer and its coming in on thursday. I was searchin around for what dashboard i should use and i have a few questions.

!. Do u have to hide ur bios, apps, etc.....to prevent being caught on xbox live.
if so how. ( can u just paly xbox live aslong as u have the chip off )

2. can u do it on a stock xbox hard drive.

3. what is a good dashboard to use.

1. make sure the chip is off
2. yes, install apps etc on the e drive
3. i would recoomend xbmc as a dash, but try a few and see what tickles your fancy.

HEy thanks a number with that first group of questions, here's one more.

1. Is there a program that will help me change which drive im using or show which are available to use? is it an option already acceptable in the dashboard or Bios menu

Like u said if u dont want to be caught, make sure ur hacked files are on the e/drive, well am asking which is the man drice is it c or d etc......... And to acces e if it is not the main drive do u use a program to switch from drive to drive... i hope it clears it up a little...thanxx

Ok... you can set your chip bios to boot from any drive... D:, E:, ect...

M$ defalutly boots to C:

so set your bios to boot to e:, move all your crap to e: (dash and whatnot) then your golden.

When you boot disabled you'll go to C and when you boot with the chip you'll go to E...

But I thought that it didn't matter what was on your drive... jsut bios and eeprom.
