RGH Xbox Live Arcade Games in trial mode after RGH

Before attempting RGH I purchased several games on Xbox Live. After finishing RGH those games are in trial mode.

Since connecting to Xbox Live is not recommended is there a RGH/JTAG method for converting those games back to full game mode?

(looking on torrent sites for those games is not an option)

The bit in red should not enter your mind. Just for the fact it's not legal, and can contain Malware and viruses

look on xbox scene, they have loads of downloadable programs for this sort of thing. like Yaris Swap. And XBLA Unlocker.

That is one of the downsides of not being able to connect to Live, Games that are normally unlocked, become locked.

Are you using dashlaunch 2.29? If you are change contpatch to false.

Either what DavyG suggests or install Dashlaunch 2.27 patches. Skip the part where it asks you about the ini files.

1 - change contpatch to false in launch.ini
2 - Download XM360 and put on your 360
3 - Run XM360 - DONE!

maybe 4 - If you are using external drive to store your XBLA the edit xm360.cfg to do additional scan of USb0

Now DONE!

I had the same issue as the OP and just changing the contpatch to false sorted it. What benefits do 2 & 3 have?

I found that even after unlocking them and them showing as unlocked in 360 Content Manager, they were still trials on the Xbox. Only setting the contpatch to false fixed it for me.

And that answers my question about xm360, it unlocks XBLA

I'm sure that the XBLA games you got (from somewhere) has already been unlocked, so there's no need to install or use xm360, Yaris Swap or XBLA Unlocker.

I'm fairly sure the DLC I copied off my live console isn't unlocked already.

Using Yaris swap is not a good idea anymore.

It says in the 2.29 readme that the content unlock patch has been reworked so you may get unpredictable results. This is why I recommended dropping back to 2.27.

because xm360 will not unlock with content patch running. They show as unlocked but they are not until you actually change content path.

Weird thing I did notice on one of my machines is that they were unlocked with content patch until I actually ran xm360 then they were in trial modes.
