$90 BANNING FEE!

That's right people, it's been confirmed! People who are getting banned are being charged a $90 re-activation fee. You've heard it here first.

That's only if you want that same account back, you could just simply make a new account if you dont want to bother to keep the banned account. I'm pretty sure they would wipe your scores clean since you used a modchip, but the only benefit would be that you get to keep that certain GT.

Ya but i dont think you'll be able to go back online with the same xbox, or at least with the same IP

Well would you rather get back on that xbox for $90 or pay $150 for a new xbox?

The info in the new eeprom is all unbanned info. I thought by replacing the banned eeprom with an unbanned eeprom Live would work again....I thought this is how it worked.

Someone correct me if I am wrong...

You also need a new hardrive since the hardrive is also married with the EEprom, but since your gamertag was flag that means they'll do some checks on the hard drive which would then get you banned again UNLESS you created a new gamertag.

yeah that sounds right, It would marry the new eeprom to your upgraded HD, no need to downgrade your HD because you put a new eeprom on your xbox.

If they ever ban me from live, I don't think I'd want to go back anyways. I'll just play kai and save like 60$ a year.

I thought the serial number of the HD was linked to the banded eeprom, thus requiring a unbanded eeprom and new HD. Right or wrong?

correct, you would need both a new eeprom and a new hard drive
