XBOX Live Communication Error

Hey fellas,

I just reflashed an eeprom to my mobo and instralled a new hdd. However, when I try to connect to XBL, I get a communication error now.

Anyone got any ideas? All I've heard so far is that the eeprom I bought must have been banned before. I'd like to think not and give the seller the benefit of the doubt. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I used config magic and followed instructions to the T. I have done this before, so I don't think it's in the process I took. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows?

I've got a 1.0, 250 Gig WD, X3.

When you get the error doesn't it take you to the troubleshooter screen??

Yep...IP and DNs and all that jazz work fine, but it comes up with the communication error message. It says to check my router settings (which are fine, I'm positive) and to check xbox.com/connection or something like that.
