XBOX Live connection issue

I have the following setup.

120 gig HDD (locked) only default files on C
X2.6 pro with 5032 on banks 1 & 2
Latest XBMC as default dash.
Kaistation on my WRT54G.

The following line of code in my x2config.ini


; patch away xbox live connectivity code
patchXboxLive = 1


OK here is the story, I logged into Kai through XBMC and found a Halo 2 game, started the game which then proceeded to download the latest XBOX live data.

Am a correct in saying that by using "patchXboxLive = 1" this turns off the ability to sign into Live?

Yes it should!

Was your MS dashboard up to date prior to connecting?

Also, do you have Xbox Live auto signon turned 'off'?

Not too sure if my dash was up to date but I think it is now.

My auto login in MSDash is set to off.

This is weird not too sure what is the problem, may be I will try another dash to eliminate things.

Does Avalaunch support XLink Kai?

NOPE, load of crap, you can ONLY go on live with a retail bios.

An no I havent read the post you linked to, I'm not willing to sign up for the forum.
Maybe you could copy and paste the message here.

well if standbyign wasnt bad enough now u can mod i have found out and i have tested it in a custom when i was not host it worked. how? well when u mod ur box with a chip u flash the chip with a new bios like xecuter bios now ur xbox does not run the stock cromwell bios so if u try to get on xbl they kick you because they see that u have a chip running well now with the new bios u can get on xbl with mods play match making and win easy

things u can do:
auto aim for sniper and b4
super speed
super weapons
super jump

Anyone who tries this are guaranteed to get banned, and rightly so.

Microsoft will detect ANY BIOS that's not signed or doesn't match their MD5 hash.

Running backups on Live would KILL the Xbox gaming industry and noone would want that!
