"Xbox Live Not Found" Message...

I turn off my xec 2.6, locked hdd too, and load up ms dash. Comes up fine, but I go to play on live, and I am unable to connect. I hit up the trouble shooter to see the problem, and al my network settings are fine, until it comes up Xbox Live not Found. This is weird, because I have not gotten this message before. I tried rebooting and accessing from ingame, but I always come up with Xbox Live not Found. Anyone know what I can do to fix this and get back on Live?

Updates: I don't think I was banned either, like I said, HDD was locked, and modchip was off...GT isn't flagged (this is the second time going on live with a modded box). Sorry for all posts, but I just want to update what I am finding as I go along, so people don't get confused on what my problem is.

Also, my GT isn't even on this xbox, because I had just formatted. So I cannot be banned then right?

Ip is not static, no left over avaluanch files on my xbox either.
