I just signed into Freestyle dash with my live profile and played one of my backups In a god container which I launched from Fsd. Is it safe to bring my live profile back over to my LIVE xbox? Thanks

if u hadve't been online on the RGH 360 u should be goood just recover the account on the live xbox
if you think about it the RGH xbox didnt go on live so his account wouldn't be in sync with the one that the live servers have so if he RECOVERS his acc on a clean xbox the info would be the same as if he didnt go online for a week you know what i mean
You should never bring an RGH on Live so that is irrelivant.

Was referring to this comment where you advised as long as he hasn't been on Live with his RGH he should be fine. If you bring an RGH on Live you will be banned in minutes so that advice was kinda irrelevant.
Yes, but what about if you transfer your profile back to a LIVE xbox via flash drive (similar to how you would transfer it to an RGH box).

Overall, the safest option would be to recover the profile and you just won't get to see the achievement points/etc show up on your live account that you earned on the RGH.

Yeah I guess recovering the profile would be fine I just don't understand what the issue would be then. I am guessing he wants to keep the achievements he has gained on the RGH which wouldn't work because there would be corrupt data from the RGH once trasferred back to the Live Xbox. OP, what are you trying to accomplish?

I would like to transfer saves back and forth and continue my acheivements but do it in the safest way, I just started this tonight so there has not been much progress On my Gt other than a save. Also I loaded my profile and launched my backup from FSD. I am done thank u.
I have just done this with a spare Phat console im selling to play some Forza 4. As my flashed slim can't play XGD3's yet
Just use a usb flash drive, and sync the profile to live as soon as you copy it back, and will work ok.
I have always avoided any save modifications etc thow, as that may ban you.

I do this between my banned phat and normal unmoddded slim. Have had no problems so far. Only gamertag though.
For the emulators I use a different tag. As points for the Ames emulator never go down well.

i have a profile for my RGH and one for my Live box
i update the achievements for my RGH profile on live on an old console that has a missing dvd key in case the console gets banned..so far so good...even has an achievement for homebrew on it ???? just waiting to see how long before it gets banned

I switch my gamertag back & forth between my JTAG, RGH, & Live consoles with a USB all the time. Just remember what GoldenSavage said. You really don't want to load homebrew that give you achievements on a gamertag you take on live.
Hah, yeah...I wonder if that will fly under the radar.
I wonder if there is any official word on this matter. As of right now I have a separate profile for the games I play on my RGH. I'm really not looking to impress anyone with my gamer score, not saying gamer score is lame or anything I just had a Gamertag banned once indefinitely and it sucked to lose all my points so I don't even bother anymore. I hope someone will post a definite answer as what is "safe" and what isn't as far as importing and exporting XBL profiles.

This is the answer you need when considering switching and staying safe. Loading homebrew is a definate no-no. Loading games is ok as long as you do it right.
If your profile gets modified in the wrong way and MS see this they "might" give you a profile ban.
I have an offline profile on the RGH for homebrew then my live profile is on mem stick and I stick to the rules in the guide above when using it on the RGH and have done for months.....
The emulator achievements don't sync with live so no one can see them
