Xbox live question...

Hello and merry christmas to all!!!
so I got a new 1.6b xbox for christmas because my old xbox broke out of nowhere. It was just old, no mod chip or anything. It just stopped turning on so i think the power supply went bad. But i want to install a x3 on this new one and ive read up on the marriage theory.

My question is, that i had an old account on my old xbox, so when i got the new xbox it went right 2 network setup and i entered the ip address, dns, ect, and it connected to xbox live. i never entered my account information but it did connect to xbox live. Does that mean it married 2 my eeprom already? or do i have 2 enter the account info to do that? And should i just take this xbox back before i mod it and get a new one so there is no chance of banning? Also could i put the old hdd from my old xbox into this new one and have it work? or is that old drive married to the old xbox? and if the new drive did marry to the new xbox would it be easy enough to change the eeprom? or would it be worthwhile to just take it back and get a new one?

It doesn't. If you replace the eeprom when you upgrade the hard drive then your good to go.


Is it a pain to change the eeprom? should i just try to return this xbox for a different one??

also are u sure it married my current drive to the xbox? or does that happen when an account is entered or created?

YOU WILL BE BANNED. The marriage theory is true, i have done my own test to prove it. The best way to not get banned again is to use a none banned eeprom and use your original drive with x3 disabled, this works flawlesslt unless you did something wrong. As for updating your eeprom it is not hard at all use ConfigMagic and look at the tutorials or the person who you bought the new eeprom from may send you a tutorial also but the whole process will take like 3min and then your all set.

Here is something intersting, I got an old xbox banned, recovered the account on a new xbox that i modded before hand w/ 120 gig hdd (stealth F using slayers) and X3 on newest bios...
signed it once while recovering account and poof that was it, i was banned...

seems the flag your acct after ban...

Spoofing from Sammy28 to LiteOn

Hi
Some time ago I noticed that my console had a spoofed drive.
I've a Samsung MS28 with LT when instead I should have a LiteOn.
Yesterday I get the reader buyed on web, but on JF tutorial I can't find what interests me (I don't speak english so is difficult a bit).

What should I do to make this change of drive?
