Xbox Live ''Unban''

Has anybody tried or used this site before, I'm looking to unban my 360 somehow and I stumbled upon this. Is this possible or what?

hi m8 no its not possible to unban your console this company are not unbanning your console but just changing the mother board and dvd drive
baisacally making it a new console but with your case etc its the same as going out and purchasing a new console i dont go on live so im not sure wether you would be able to use your existing account with the new m/b or would have to register again may be some other guy can answer that one for you

kk thanks a lot, I decided I'm not going to use this site. But about what u said, is it possible for me to somehow switch the parts with one banned xbox and one unbanned xbox to make the other one online again?

Oh yeah and the unbanned xbox has the 3 rings of death so I'm hoping somehow combining the two would fix both issues. Thanks Again

You can recover your gamertag and use your hdd on another xbox

hi m8 swapping the 3 redlight one will only give you the same 3 red light on the one you have swapped with so you would not be banned but you would not be able to play at all so its a no win situation only thing to do would be to send the 3 red light one back to ms under the new 3 years warrenty deal and then you would have a working 360 on live again

LOL, you may aswell buy a brand new core system for that price, almost!

Anyway, what they do, you can do yourself if you feel you are capable. You already said you have an unbanned console, but with 3 red lights yeah?

You could probably fix your unbanned consoles motherboard to cure the 3 red lights. It's pretty straight forward & you have nothing to lose as you can't use it anyway at the moment right? That way you wont have to worry about swapping DVD drives and flashing them either, just use the one thats already there. Worth a go I reckon if it will save you money, just search on google for X-Clamp Replacement fix. Or check this out:

OR...

You can buy new/used motherboards for your 360 on ebay supplied either with the DVD drive it came attached to, or with the original firmware or drive key from the DVD that was attached to it.

So you could buy the motherboard and swap all your other bits from your console onto it. If you buy one with a DVD drive then your all set to go, if not you will need to flash your DVD drive with the firmware supplied by the person who sold you the motherboard or inject the key they provided into an original firmware that you can download off Team MODFREAKz site (just google Team MODFREAKz as I can not post the link to you) IMPORTANT: If you do this make sure you get the drive key with the new motherboard AT LEAST, preferably the original FW dump as well.

Once you've done that your ready to play again.

if it has the 3 red lights, just send it in to MS & they will fix it for free.....even with a banned console. i sent in a flashed drive console & they sent me a new, refurbished one.

Then you were very lucky. If the console has been tampered with & if the seal is broken etc, they usually wont touch it.

One thing though, has the unbanned console you have with 3 red lights been modded before, or is the warranty sticker etc still in tact etc?

If it's not been touched you should try as j_wheazy said & see if M$ will fix/exchange it, that's what I would do in this case obviously. I was just under the assumption that the unbanned console is modded also.

If it has been modified, I guess you could always flash the drive back to original and take your chances, but I wouldn't personally. I would just do the X-Clamp replacement, it's pretty easy.

Your decision at the end of the day though.
