Xbox Live Updater?

Hi,

I'm just about to install my X3 chip, but I noticed while backing up my games, as I'm putting a new hard drive as well, that in the saved game section of my Xbox is a "Xbox Live Updater" using 2 blocks.
I've never been on Xbox Live, but I think my dashboard got updated in July when Im connected the Xbox to the router.

The questions I have are:-
What is this Xbox Live updater, does it store my hardware info?
And if I installed my X3 chip and connected to Xbox Live will I get banned?

hi all thanks for all your hard work it has helped me out a lot a long the way but i just have one question left i have been looking for ages on google and can not find it any where i am after a guide to show me how to rip original xbox 360 games to my PC so i can make backups of all my original games thanks in advance

Do you have a 360 drive flashed with 0800 firmware? that's the only way to rip your original 360 discs, If your D/L games from the net that Priracy and ppl won't help you do that...its Verbotten or NOT ALLOWED

First off you didnt give alot of info in your post above especially how you were copying your ORIGINAL discs........I was going to send you the tutorial that i found...but since you said that comment above you can go find it yourself.... Enjoy
