Xbox Media Center Question...

I was just curious, in some of the past versions and the new version of XBMC (released on the 1st) there is a button on the bottom right. Well, under that button are some options like "Web Radio" and "Game Trailers" etc. When I click on them, they don't do any thing. I was wondering if you have to edit somthing in the Xboxmediacenter.xml or they will become active in later versions. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Don't know about you, but mine work just fine. Using the newest build 4-1-05. Game trailers work, movie trailers work haven't tested the rest yet.

Maybe somethings not configured right on your network.

Cool, thanks for the info. One question though, after you press "a" on one of those selections, what happens? Does a window pop up that takes you to Game Trailers, etc? Because after I press "a", it just goes right back to the main screen and does nothing.

Yes once you hit "a" on a selection it takes you to another screen where you can select to view game trailers via the internet, or the movie trailers.

You need to have your network setup so that your Xbox can get access to the internet.
Oh darn, I thought the trailers would magicly appear on my hard drive and I didn't need to be connected to the internet...come on, I know that much. Thanks stryfe for the feedback. I'll fix this eventually....

They are shortcuts to python scripts, for them to work you need the python script and either rename the script file to match the shortcut or edit the skin file.

If you are using project mayhem skins I believe Webradio shortcut launches kmlbrowse.py script.

The skin file that defines the menu shortcuts is called DialogSubMenu.xml.
