I recently had my xbox modded by a friend of mine but never had a chance to explain things to me before I moved.
I was deleting somethings off the xbox, and accidently deleted the XBMC skin
now it loads up with a fatal error. How can I fix this

Download XBMC again, and ftp the "skins" folder back into your Xbox.

If XBMC was your default dash, place the "skins" folder inside of "C". I'm imagining you will need to be using an X3 chip, or a boot disk in order to successfully FTP. If need be, you can get an EvolutionX boot disk from the usual places. It's good to keep one for situations like this. Worse come to worse, COMPLETELY reinstall XBMC.

Let me know what happens.

He doesn't need just an X3 to be able to Network into the box. The X2 is capable of FTPing into the XBOX. Not sure about any earlier makes though, never owned em.

ok what are you using as a dash??

better question can you still FTP to your Xbox.

is so find where XBMC is located and then put the skins back in the skins folder.

if the error comes up when you boot your xbox make a EVOX boot disc to get access to ftp.

I am using EVOX dash.
The ip address for the xbox is there along with the gateway address.
Everything on the xbox is fine except for the xbmc.
Where do I go from here.
