I work for an internet arcade in the town I live in and we have about 10 xboxes along with about 25 computers. Within the past few months we have had four xbox's nics go out. No link light, no activity light, dead. I am completely stumped about what made this happen. All of them were different versions. What would cause this? Thanks for the help.

Power surge? It will always hit the weakest link first. Do you have surge protection in place?

Yes, we have surge protectors all over the store. And I know it isn't the surgeprotector that is bad, because it has happened to boxes all over the store, not just in one location.

Sounds like they got over worked- yes, it can happen. Wear and tear and over use can cause this. You'll need replacements.

One of them we've had for a week. I doubt it was over use.
