Xbox Not Flashing

oki i bought Xecuter 2.6CE chip and soldered it. at first it was fragging so i checked all the points and fixed the problem. so no more fragging. ok now the problem. according to the installation guide on xecuter's site, i'm suppose to get the flashing screen when i turn on the xbox for the first time after soldering the chip. unfortunatly this didnt happened. after asking several people on irc, i tried to flash it on a burned dics. so i have followed many guides that people posted here but still it didnt work. all i got is the xbox msg saying disc not supported. i've wasted like 10 cds and dvds all of different brands but no use ;/ .

apart from that, i've lost sound. lost it after soldering the chip. i've checked the cables and they are fine.

would be glad if anyone can help solve me the problem

current status : mod chip seems to have installed right, the lights turn on perfect. turn red and blue when i switch stuff on and off.. either with the chip enabled or disabled the xbox boots as if there was no modchip installed ... and also lost sound ... no idea how :x ... tried flashing the bios using a cd/dvd ...didnt quite workout bcuz all discs werent supported .. tried 6 different cdr's 1 cdrw ... and 3 dvd+r ... no dvd-r in stock atm ...

If you're not booting to FlashBIOS, then you won't be able to flash your chip. Simple as that. If the Xbox flubber is still appearing then your soldering needs attention, or you need to check the switch.

Also, the no sound thing is down to a broken trace. Check around your LPC area as one of the traces is damaged. You may need to remove the LPC rebuild in order to get to it.
