Xbox not starting up / sometimes will

I have a V1.0 Xbox with an X2.6CE it's been in for about a year now and everything has been working fine till about a month ago. When i try to start my xbox it will turn on then turn off, and do that 3 times and Frag. but if i switch the modchip on/off for about 10mins trying to turn it on it will work. I dont remember what bios version i have but i wanna say its fairly new.

You're going to need to take it apart and check all the connections and also the switches I'm afraid. Sounds like something may be loose.

My XBox has the same problem where you play it for a while and if you restart it it does the three on then off and flashes and the only way to get it going is to turn the switch off start the xbox, then turn the switch back on and away it goes

The only problem with the solderless adaptor is that if it's seated absolutely, positively 100%, then with the heat inside the Xbox, the contacts expand and lose connection. If you take it apart, I expect there is a problem with the Xaptr seating on the board.

It will never be as good as a pin-header solder job I'm afraid.
