Hi

Wondered if anyone could help.. I have an Xbox one in and it has a faulty hard drive. The hard drive is just ticking and not accessible. It's obviously not allowing the Xbox one to boot. The Xbox is out of warranty.

My question is, is there any way of changing this hard drive if you can't access the old one?

Thanks
Luke

I kind of just want to know if there is a fix without sending this off. Would be nice to know for the future too as I think this will be a common issue soon.

you know your dash version ? maybe possible to use donor HDD with same dash version , just clone it. if it not working right away try to use Microsoft recovery system files, there is 3 versions , try all of them after cloning the donor HDD.
this is just a idea , not sure if it will work.
maybe HDD data is unique per console, don't know.
