Hello guys,
Good morning.
Hope every one is doing ok.
I recently encountered a problem on my customer’s xbox one where it does not boot for some reason and all I see is a blank screen on turning it on.
It’s a 500gb fifa 15 bundle console purchased in the united states back in 2014. The usage is quite less and its been used by kids for basic games like fruit ninja and kinect stuffs.
Also, leaving it turned on for like 20 min, shows up a Green xbox one boot logo and then nothing happens. The screen is just with the loading xbox one logo.
I have tried fitting a pen drive trying to do a manual factory reset and along with different files like OSU1,2,3. But it all fails. Unfortunately I don’t seem to get the double beep sound.
After reading through various forums I came to know that it could possibly be a harddrive problem.
The current scenario is, that I have disassembled the xbox one and I have removed the harddrive.
I would wait for an advice from you guys what to do next J
Note: I did see a method where the file partitions are managed and restored using linux os booting from a live cd.
I have a PC where I can connect this hdd and restore the files using partition magic or something. Not sure where I will start with and I am not sure if the hdd is totally dead or corrupted.
All we need is a up and running xbox one for casual gaming and I am ready to purchase a new 500gb harddrive. Not necessarily looking for a 1tb upgrade though. All we want is the xbox one to back to normal
Thanks people J
