I have 2 xbox one's that are basically doing the same thing and for the life of me I cannot get it figure out. It may not be fixable but I wanted to ask here before I give it up.
The Xbox's power on fine and they come up to the screen with the controller, like they have been reset etc You go through setup steps and it will get to where it needs updating, they are on very old versions, one is on 1800 and i think the other 1900. I connect to my wifi with no issues at all and I get to the update and it downloads and installs and then this is where it goes bad. One system will say restarting and then it will turn off and it wont turn itself back on, it trys the white light flashes and it goes off power brick goes orange. I can then power it on manually it will try to start and shuts off. Then I do it again and it comes back to the screen with the controller and same things can go through some steps and it will try to update and it shuts off. The other system will do similar it will run the update and when it restarts, it will reboot and come back on but the TV stays at no signal.
I have tried to use offline update and what happens is it will ding like it hit the update but just sits on the XBOX ONE green screen for a few minutes and then powers off.... I did try to use a different hard drive and different update files on it, no luck as of yet. I know when I put OSU1 on the drive it will just turn on and back off because that file is to new i guess and it doesnt like it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I will continue to try things and see if anything will work. I hope these systems are not screwed.
