xbox screen(ROX MY BOX) wont load

for x box 1.6--xecuter 3--
FlashBIOS comes on the screen, everything loads (network flashing.... flashbios_v301.bin, bank - on,on,off,off,off) and then shuts off. but when i turn it back on to get the xbox screen (ROX MY BOX), it just goes back to the beginning..... WHY?? please explain....

Let me try to understand of what you just typed. You have version 1.6 xbox with X3. You got Flashbios 3.0.1 and did a network flash with your X3 switches on on off off off. Now tell me, what bios did you use to flash? Type out the name of bios.

i dont have Flashbios3.0.1....I have Flashbios 3.0.3...yes a networked flashed with my X3 switches on on off off off. the name of the bios is: flashbios_v301.bin... i am noobie, so i dont really know everything about this.

Ah, now I understand your title. Let me clarify things a little. Flashbios is a legal bios and it's sole functions are to allow you to flash your chip to other bioses (namely illegal bioses or hacked bioses that gives your chip more functionality) and to lock/unlock hd.

What you did is short of wise move since if you really have a version 1.6 xbox and not 1.6b, then you would need flashbios 3.0.1 because 3.0.3 would have issues with your version 1.6 xbox.

Second, you need to download X3 hacked bios and the latest version is 3029. In your case, you will need to download the file and then extract the files to a folder on your PC. Then you need to network flash a file named X3 3029 v16plus.bin.

Edit: your switches are the correct configuration to flash.
