xbox settings reset after eject

if you have a 1.6b ( hynix ram ) the slayers disc bios ( evox m8 ) will cause all apps and games to freeze at start up or there after . this problem is only with the 1.6b units , they all fully reset the machines all power down then reboot , they even reset the time and date functions , all the lights go off and it is just like a first boot of the machine from new , i have tried altering the bios with the evtool and resaving it but the end result remains the same all 3 of the 1.6b machines im doing for customers shutdown and reset everything when you press eject
surely there is a way to stop these machines doing this ?
can team xecuter PLEASE come up with a fully working bios , PLEASE

Evox M8_16 does NOT work correctly with the 1.6b

You should be Flashing FlashBIOS 3.0.3 on Bank 1 and Evox M8+16 on bank 2.

If you haven't done this, then you should be!

There's no need to be flashing your BIOS from Slayers CD. The BIOSes get out of date very quickly and if you've managed to boot the CD, then you don't need to flash it anyway.

yes martin is ofcourse correct you need to use the m8plusv16 on the 1.6b xbox's try using the cromwell 303 for the first 512k of bios and m8plusv16 for the second 512k, i had a working xbox with that method, but did lose date time still on reboot, but i then made a full 1mb m8plusv16 bios and loaded that on which sorted out the problem with the time/date but still not running right in my opion, but new bios's will be out soon no doubt.

Bricked-no vendor info Samsung ms28

Hello everyone,

For some strange reason, samsung drives doesn't respond well with the newest versions of Jungleflasher. I have the original bin and keys and as I was flashing back to original, jungleflasher freezes and now my drive does not respond.

I can't eject or get the drive to unlock. I researched all over the internet and nothing seems to work. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction. The fw was at the time xtreme 5.3A.

Try sending the intro command first. Usually works for me

try send intro with the drive turned off then wait for dots to appear then power on the drive this shuld put the drive in vendor mode.

This is known as VCC trick and only works with VIA and NForce chipsets
