Xbox skips booting logo when Xell is flashed ?

I recently obtained an exploitable zephyr. I did the alt wiring with the transistors. Everything went smoothly, but I noticed that I get a bad block/writing error: 0x004B @ 0x3FF. I believe this is in the first 50 blocks so I knew I had to remap the xell file. I flashed xell with Jtag Tool, with alt smc options. And when I boot it with the eject tray, it just skips the booting logo and goes straight to the dashboard (There is a black screen for a period of time.) I am not too sure how to remap it, I tried, but the same thing happened. I probably remapped it wrong. I would appreciate all help, thank you.

If the console goes to the dash, it means you wrote freeboot to the NAND. When writing freeboot image, it overwrites xell.

What settings did you create the freeboot image with?

I clicked write Xellous with Jtag tool. With "BOTH" aud_clamp and dvd tray.

Either with that option or when you created freeboot, did you choose DVD or No DVD options?

Also when you press the eject button, does the tray stay out or does it go back in? Last, I re-flashed a xenon today using the latest jtag tool version with the DVD drive option yet when I powered the console on without a drive it still went to freeboot, so might be an issue with latest version of jtag tool!

Ok, so I flahed Xellous with no dvd drive option, same thing happened. So I decided to just flash Xell with dvd drive and it worked ? Wth, very strange.

Ok, just came back. I just got my cpu key, made a freebot image with Jtag tool and flashed it to the xbox. Now the green middle light just keeps blinking, but Xell still works. Please help me. Thank you.

I would recommend you return the soldering points to the setup where you had xell booting first. Get xell working again and then report back.

Now load your original NAND image into 360 dump flash tool and post a picture of the screen for me here to look at.

I'm assuming you're remapping again once you've flashed Freeboot?
Yes I did, but I didn't need to remap Xell, it worked with Jtag Tool. Should I post my nand and cpu key, and see if you can make me a freeboot that works ? I would appreciate it, because Jtag Tool isn't working for me.Thanks.

I was going to suggest that but thought you might want to try the hard way. Upload your original NAND dump somewhere like mediafire then message me with the download link & your CPU key.

K, I flahed the file and the same thing happens. The middle light just keeps blinking without video. Should I remove the transistors and ohm resistors and just do the normal aud_clamp/dvd tray wiring ? Thanks once again.
Xell does still work though.

Ok I'm confused now, aren't you already got the wiring to use the audio_clamp & open_tray as we speak?

If you have standard switching diodes just use those instead.

Thank you so much manwithoutname, it works. Mind telling me how you did it ? Also can I add the transistors with the resistors now or should I just leave the diodes ? Thank you.
