Xbox slim Automatic turn on

Hello,

I was installing an coolrunner. All it´s going well. I read nand, flash xell, and i was messing with the wire lenghts using the new qsb. When i tryed 38 the xbox rroded 0010. I solder to the 50 rroded again, i tryed to flash to the nand but every command i make on nandpro makes the xbox turns on. After that the xbox boots ok to hacked dash or xell but turns on automatic. When i connect the power brick the xbox turns on by itself too. Tryed again to write using nand x and xbox turns on. :crazy: Can someone help please.

i've had this on a customer console exact same issue. its a bad joint somewhere mine ended up being the green brown or red points shorting on one point though i don't know which as i removed and redone all 3 at once and cured the problem. i could see no bridge by eye but it was there 100%

Thanks for the answer. I disconnect the coolrunner. Leave the qsb only and did the same. let´s try to resolder nand poits then.

if you disconnected it all and its still doing it i'd be closely examining the hana point for damage or a bridge then.

the wires i suggested are the coolrunner wires not the nand wires

Most likely the Hana point, it's a very fine and intricate job.

Easily bridged and not too noticeable to the naked eye.

I desolder everything. Inspected every joint, the xbox queeps turning itself when i plug the power brick. I turn it of solder nand x cable and when i send a comand throught nandpro the xbox turns on itself. Damn. I will try to explain.


Solded qsb.
Read nand
Flash ecc
Install coolrunner and qsb
Boot to xell
Tryed 50, 47, 29 until then it was ok.

Tryed 38 all went well but when the xbox should boot gave me a red light code 0010, i desoldered and sold 50 back and the same rrod. I tryed to flash the orig nand back but when i send the comand throug nand pro the xbox turns on. Rapidly disconnect the power brick and nand x. Put the power brick and the xbox turns for itself but boot to xell, i flash the hacked dash. After this the xbox turns on fine but always turn on when i connect power brick.

Now i desoldered everything inspected the board for bridged and stuf, nothing, clean it all with alcool, and the same.....

It is possible to be a nand issue? Southbridge?:facepalm:
