RGH Xbox slim dead after short pins of dvd-rom

hello

I have an xbox with rgh, I removed dvdrom but diode on power switch blink all the time so i found that to stop it:

And after that i turn on the console and it didn`t start. Now my xbox are dead.

I`ve removed chip and all wires and tried write original nand but nandpro don`t see the nand.

Do you heve any advice how to resurect my xbox?

Before you tried to short the pins did you have a working nand image on the xbox? Did it boot to the dashboard?

What does it do now when you turn it on?

there better ways of stoppin it if it bugged you that much.

remove it or cover it.

i not sure if removein it would of worked tho.

Does the nodvd option (like in bestpigs freeboot toolbox maker) only work on jtags?
I see the option is disabled if you choose glitch image. Glitch hack prevents that option?

What does it do now when you turn it on?

Console just "ding" when i press eject or power button.

And it had worked ok before i made a short.

So it doesn't boot to anything and no errors, right? Do you have the dvd drive plugged in? Can you boot to xell?

No, console beeps but nothing happens - fans dont start, leds dont blink, led on power supply stay orange.

It's not the DVD drive causing the problem, its the motherboard. I have seen a few Slims that just "ding" and do nothing else. Something like a resistor/capacitor/transistor shorted out on the board that is power related.

Yep, you've blown a component on the 5v standby rail meaning it won't turn on.

It's a lot of work and may require lifting components just to test them. It may not even be worth it due to the time and skill involved. Sell it off as parts and buy a new one is what I would recommend.
