Xbox slim drive PCB Alternate Points

I was wondering would I be right to assume I can use the five points on the back of the pcb to solder the wires to?

You should be able to find an alternate point or at least pick on the traces from the actual pads themselves but honestly why would you want to continue using such a board that in real bad shape? Unless you're just trying to recovery the firmware?

It could cause more damage to your drive or console at a later stage.

I just need to recover the firmware as I have two locked winbonds at the moment, need to get them unlocked.

These wires aren't needed for recovering the firmware. Just connect power and SATA.
