GENERAL XBOX Slim S Weird Error Code ?? And a few other questions..

So its been a while since iv'e played or modded anything xbox, years and years ago i played around..

So i bought a broken 360 from a pawn shop for 20 bucks, i knew it was broken, i knew it gave some error code i just didn't know what until i got home, its a slim model, it was never opened (until today by me) (unless the guy/gal who opened it did a magical job) so i plugged it in, as you turn the system on, it pops up "system update failed, blah blah blah" Status Code _ 3CD6-40A3-B780-0F00-C000-007B _

I have not been able to find this code, or any information about it, a few people said check to see if its been flashed and revert the flash, i tried using a thumb drive, with the last 6 updates and none would complete the update (as i stated it looks like the thing was never opened) does anyone have any opinions?? Advice??

16547 did you try that on USB? Is this a corona v2/4 by any chance?

I cant remember if i tried that one, it is a Corona V4 (80 percent chance im sure of that) lol

It also looks like i may not have tired that one and screwed up my downloads.. I thought i downloaded it, but i cant find it, i got 15574,16747,16756,16537 so maybe i didnt

So my drive is flashed? Or how can i tell, wouldnt the update i just used on top of the 3 it also installed flash it back to stock..

Read step 4 under xbox slim... Tells you how to figure out which update you needed to use...
And the xbox only flashed the DVD drive once during an update and that was if you were on like a dash before 13xxx

Well i used 15574, i just got the xbox so i dont know what dashboard it was on before, but when i put the drive in with 15574 it finished that update and did i think 2 more maybe they weren't dashboard updates maybe they were just something else or the rest of the update, i can put a burnt game in it pops up play game but does not actually play, it begins then exits back to the dashboard..

you tested only with backups games?
You tried to test some original game?

Original games work just fine.. Someone said new new games show up as play game and older games show up as play dvd, some of my copys say dvd some say game, but original games work..

Yes as i said in your other thread xdg3 (newer games) show up as play game with no image and older games come up as play dvd. Normal behaviour for an un flashed drive

Yea lol forgot what it was called, finally got the 360 fully operational not bad for 30 bucks at a pawn shop with the kinect kit and all, who does everyone ask if my drive plays unburnt games

Also instead of making a new thread, i had a few questions, on my old fat 360, it has a liteon drive that someone soldered points on to extract the key i guess, would i have to do the same to get the key< where would i start hardware wise, i have a molex to xbox drive power connector a Tiao T-X360-02 V3.1 anyone know anything about this and what the "mode" button does, i got it with a liteon drive flashed with 0800 fw for backups, can i also use it to power a drive that im going to flash or would that not be necessary with a x360usb pro, would the usb pro also work as a pass through to rip games, i no longer own a desktop and my laptop has no via port for it, sorry for all the noob questions..
