Thanks again!

Let me summerize what i've understand
1. I Have benq phat drive that spoofed to liteon.
2. if i want to play xgd3 games i need to upgrade the drive to LT+ 2.0
3. to upgrade it i need the original's drive files.
4. i can pay the shop for the upgrade
5. i can retrive the files from the shop
6. is there is any way to retrive the files from the current drive? if so can i get a guide please.
7. my other option is to connect the drive to my computer and see excaly what my original drive was, then order a new one, and the flashing procedure will be normal.

did i missunderstand something? got something wrong?

Try #5 Demand the dvd key from the shop, If you can't get it, Then try #7 to try to see what fw is on the drive, If you can't get the info from your onboard Sata then get a CK3i and a X360USB Pro, Your gonna have to get these anyway to flash the new drive, Which will cost just a about the same as that stupid shop wants to charge you, And in the future you'll be able to flash for yourself, Get the fw version and OSIG, Order the drive which is most likely a Liteon, Flash stock fw with your key to the new drive, Update the dash and then flash back with LT2.0, For a tutorial goto Click Here and grab the latest version of jungleflasher, There's a tutorial in the .RAR, Read it many times before you attempt the mod, Specifically the ***(Slim Liteon section)*** And you shouldn't have any problems, Make sure to save your dvd key in multiple places and on a cd, Good Luck, And then after you successfully flashed your new drive, And dash is updated to the latest, Break that old drive into pieces and take it back to that shop and give it to them and tell them to go fu*k themselfs :D

Wow what a horrible thing to do to someone give them a chopped up Benq or Lite-On Phat inside the slim spoofed specially to a guy that doesn't really know much about the flashing process or the hacks then try to charge him another $100.00 to upgrade. :(

Those people need to be thrown into a room and beat down just goes to show you what nasty things people will do just to make a quick buck and they knew damn well what they where selling you when you bought it shame on them.

Anyway i wish you luck in getting it all sorted out.

At last! there are Bundles in Shops..
I've ordered a mega bundle now, i should get it in about a week..

anyways,
i have another question,
the kit shipping is 40$ to here, so i've spent total of 140$ (Kit + Shipping Now)
and i couldn't ordered the original drive for my xbox since i can't know the model yet.
can i flash LT2.0 to my spoofed drive now? and order original drive later?
or will i need to order the original model first?
please keep in mind i don't play ONLINE at all..

just tell them how they flash it they did not know and say either pay $300 for new console or how much they are in america and make em flash it properly or court cause its illegal and it is fraudulent and under serviced.

a new console here costs about 500$ so that's not an option..
i wanna fix things myself i have a very good computer knowledge.. it's not im not capable of that..
i just asked a simple question,
can i do the follow:
1. extract the key from spoofed (do i need anything else?)
2. update dashboard (from Disk on key not online) - i understood that dashboard update will flash my drive
3. rewrite (and respoof) the spoof the drive again with the new LT2.0
4. later on buy a new drive (of the original model) and flash it with LT2.X

or at after step 2 i must order a new original drive (like i had) and flash it with LT2.0?

hmm,
i've just read that i can't do the dash upgrade with spoofed drive,
so, in that in mind, can i flash the LT2.0 to spoofed drive and play XGD3?
or it won't work with my current version (2.0.12625.0)
again, i'm not using xbox-live..

I Recommend you order from modchipcentral.com

they have a bundle of the X360USB and The CK3i and it comes with a probe and a unlock kit for 100 and buy the tx unlocked kit for 70

anyways, i ordered only the mega bundle..
isn't the CK3 probe is the TX thingy?
if not can you give me a link to it..?

Hi,

I've finnaly recieved the tools!
so, i've loaded up JungleFlasher,
and this is what i'm getting:




Now fix me if I'm wrong, but it says that this is a BenQ Drive, but i don't find what the drive is spoofed to..
any help please..?

After reading the drive using intro + read.
I get the key.
And it says source is lt1. 1 benq.
It means I had benq as original?

for anyone who is intersted, this story is finnished.
i've seen that i didn't have hitachi like the shop said,
called them to yell at them (directly to the manager),
they changed my drive to be liteon + LT+2.0, and updated my dashboard to 13604.
and now i'm happy. :)
