I recently tried to RGH a Xbox slim but lifted the pad where the orange wire goes. I desoldered everything and tried to turn it on but it only made the on noise but didnt boot. It will also make the disk drive open noise but wont open the disk drive.

See where I've bridged to the via?
You need to do similar.
Left hand side of resistor to VIA = a VIA is the small hole, youll need to scrape it with a knofe or fibreglass pen....I trimmed the over run wire after that image was taken FYI

Hard to tell from those pics but it looks like you lifted the pad on STBY_CLK have a look at this thread on how to repair it. http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74992

Yes it will. In future though, if you find it difficult to solder to the STBY_CLK, then use an alternative test point. It may be easier for you.
