Xbox Temprature

Hay guys, i just got my xbox modded with an xecuter 2 and my xbox CPU seems to now be heating up to 60c +

i have alot of experiance with PC's and as far as i know anything above 50 danguras, is this normal and if no how do i resolve it?

you can increase the fan speed try looking for a tool in xbox scene

If its a 1.6 version xbox, I don't believe the temperature displays properly. I know with an X3 and a 1.6 it won't show up properly. Last I heard anyway. I've installed X3s, and in the 1.6 the temp seems to jump around quite a bit. Do a search, I know this has been talked about before.

I saw somewhere on this forum (or xbox scene) that M$ used crappy thermal 'pads' on the CPU and GFX chipset. You could try taking the HSF's (Heatsink fans) off, cleaning the surfaces and applying somthing like Arctic Silver 5 compound.

I have a similar problem.
Right at start up my temps say 39.2 for MB and CPU and a regular for the HD
But then it immediately jumps to 147.2 for MB and 147.5 for CPU and regular for hard drive.

Is this a bug or can i fix it
