xbox to ps2 converter?

One of my friends wants me to cut an xbox and a ps2 controler extention cord and splice them back togather so that he can use his xbox controller with his ps2 and his ps2 DDR pad with his xbox, is this possible? I spliced an xbox breakaway cable with a USB keyboard before, I would think that it would be the same thing, but I want to make sure before I cut up his cables. Thanks.

i dont think its that simple but i think i've seen an adapter that does that on divineo.net

WTB: banned hdmi jtag console

I'm rather new to the 360 mod scene, so please bear with me.

I'm interested in buying a jtag for offline play only. I'm assuming that I can buy a console banned on Live (so its cheaper), but still play burned or games off an external hard drive.

I don't understand the RROD, firmware, or flashing lingo that I see in other posts.

yah, I pmed you. RROD means it never got the red rings of dealth. LT+ is the newest fw which allows you to play all games , including the games with ap2.5 checks.
