you're asking for alot. trying using google for basic networking help. or try xbox-scene as that will help you with networking too.

You've got to appreciate that without any previous networking experience, you really are asking to be spoonfed here..

Why people buy routers with no networking knowledge is beyond me.

Open Google and search on tcp/ip basics or tcp/ip guide. The answers are already there..

Have a look at your router where the network cable runs from xbox to router there should be a light on for the appropriate port it's plugged into (if there are lights of course!!!) then on evox along the top see what your IP address is. That should give you a basic start

You can also find a lot of info by doing a search right here on this site.
This has been discussed over and over again.

No offence to you but this is why noone wants to go through this again. All the information you need is readily available.
Remember, the search button is your friend!

Depending on the brand and model of router that you have, it might be http accessable (meaning you can view it like a web page). Look up the instructions that came with it. If you are using DCHP on the router, it will most likely have an option to look up the client table, and there you should see your PC and Xbox IP addresses.

But I agree with everyone else. This is kind of a broad question to be covered in a chip manufacturer's forum. There are great basic networking tutorials all over the internet. Google is indeed your friend.
