Was reading on xbox-scene about using FlashFxp to transfer file between 2 boxes running XBMC. Does anyone know how to properly accomplish this? Or is there another way (if better) then this?

Much appreciated!

Use Avalaunch. It has a feature that allows two XBoxs connected together (crossover) to FTP each other at incrediably fast speeds (boost mode). Almost a gig a minute. I've never personally used the feature, but I know it works!

The Avalaunch utility is excellent. No need to use a computer at all.

Set both Xboxes up so they're on the same network. Select the File Manager option and select remote connection. You should get connected from there.

Another helpful reply! Again thanks, much appreciated.

I'm one happy, file-transfering camper. (or soon to be)

Peace

Hey,

For the life of me...using Avalaunch was working awesome. I was transfering games between 2 boxes with flying colors. Then I decided I wanted Halo 1 on my new box, with the thought of having "Halo Maps" on there. ( I do have 2 disk copies of this game) So I started transfering and noticed it stopped right away. So I tried again like 3 times. Same result. It starts and when it gets to a certain file it just stops. The box doesn't freeze it just stops the process. So then I tried a couple of different games and now they do the same thing. I was able to use DVD2XBOX and load halo that way. Anyone have problems like this before?

Thanks

Well, I wish I knew...but I don't. Within 5 seconds of hitting transfer queue, it just stopped each time.
