alright, heres the story, i just got an X3 chip. I then install it to my xbox and it boots up to the flashing screen. I flashed it with FlashBIOS version 3.03 via FTP, but have been having some connectivity problems w/ my solderless adapter so i put down some electricians tape and it seems to be working fine. then when i go to flash my X3 via ftp again, it doesn't give me the address of what website to go to to flash it like i did when i was flashing it w/ FlashBIOS 3.03. after hours of troubleshooting, i decided to take out the modchip and put it back together like it wasnt ever opened. now it doesnt work! when i boot up my xbox it shows the screen that says to call xbox support. PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!! thx in advance

Does it give an error number? Also make sure all the cables are properly seated. Most likely you forgot to plug a cable back in or its loose.

Re: jf freezing when i try to read my benq

try disabling any dvd drive you have in your computer (or physically unplug them) using the device manager

some dvd rom drivers interfere with portio

so you mean physically remove the drive or just uninstall the drivers?

Make sure you are using the Primary port on the VIA card.
VIA 6421 Primary Port (3 Port version) - http://xrl.us/bfod46 | 'Sybia' Version (2 Ports) - http://xrl.us/bfqmbb
