XBOX V1.0 X3 Flashing Problem

Q: I have the new pro switch for X3. I turned off flash protection..pushed buttons 1 and 2 in for on and left the others out for off. I downloaded flashbios 3.0.3 from TeamXecuter.com and flashed via http. The xbox then shut down. I started it up by holding in the smaller power button but still just get the normal xbox screen. I know I am a n00b but can I get some help please?

You have to TAP the power button....and read the tutorials......

I did

when i tap the power button it goes to flash bios 3.0.3...that's all i have..no config live or anything..just flash bios again...i have read all the tutorials that I can find.

what are you trying to flash to the chip? and have you got flash protect turned off on the chip itself?

I am trying to get my xbox to load up with the x3 logo on it and go into the main configuration part where I can adjust all the settings...config live...etc.....yes i had flash protect off...I know I'm new at this and am prolly missing some stupid thing that I should be doing....

am I being stupid and just flashing a new version of the flashbios itself to the chip when I should be flashing an actual bios over to it or what?

It sounds like it. What Bios are you flashing to the Xbox??

i downloaded that flashbios 3.0.3 from teamxecuter.com...i think i was being stupid and thought that was the bios..when that's a new version of the flashbios..

I had my build of 2914 flashed on my xecuter3..then enabled a video setting in the configuration and now when i start up there is no video display...how can i get back to change the setting back?
