Xbox v1.1 and Xecuter 2.6CE wire install

hi people

I know there is a diagram in the sticky "wire install" topic it shows the wires soldered to the lpc points. does anything else need doing after that?

what is the best option to do. pin header or wire install. it says on the website(www.kanection.co.uk) i got it from that wire install is recommended for my version. why is this exactly?
and im trying to look for a complete wire install for this chip for my version and i cant seem to find one. can anyone please help.

sorry correction - im looking for a wire install tutorial. the LPC points are not soldered, so should it be okay to do a pin header installation

if the lpc has solder a wire install would be ok but it will not take much to desolder the holes and do a pinheader install a much better install option

hi thanks for the reply. i just checked and the holes are not soldered. just one more question is the X3 pin header installation the same for the X2.6 CE? ive read the guide. im guessing i disregard the section on the power eject adapter? thanks again

yes the same but bios switch and power eject not the same
